The last time I highlighted my blonde hair was over six months ago.
I'd like to use an all over home dye to dye it again yet my mother says I may need to have it stripped before I do so, is this true?Dying blonde highlighted hair more blonde.?
nope i dyed it and now its light blonde and i didnt strip itDying blonde highlighted hair more blonde.?
When you ';highlight'; hair you're taking color out, not putting it on so thus no need to strip. The only thing you may find is that the parts that are the lightest now will still be lighter than the darker parts. By using an all over dye to lighten, I'm assuming, the parts that were left dark because highlighting only lightens some of the hair, you will have to deal with roots as this grows out. If you want to be lighter and your hair is in decent condition you could just get another highlight. Just be sure to use a good conditioner and notice I said IF your hair is in good condition, you don't want to end up having the hair that was highlighted before break off, but after 6 months you should be ok if you've been taking care of it and had no other chemical processes done (perms etc...)
Good Luck!
yes and never have a coloring kit that you can do yourself if you have blond hair and going for more blond hair. It turns your hair BLEACH blond!
be careful if you're stripping your hair cause it'll be all like straw and feel horrible if you do it you'll have to use hair masks like twice a week.
i dont see the need to put blond highlights in blond hair there is no reason fpr that cause u think that yo wont be able to see them in the first place.
nooooooo !
