Natural highlights for dark brown hair?

how can i do this at home?Natural highlights for dark brown hair?
Go to a standard retail store such as Target, Longs, Walgreens ex. Find a blond highlight make sure it says ';Cool undertones'; This makes your hair less likely to turn orange. I would suggest having a friend do it. They are pretty simple but it is hard to do on yourself.

If you have light brown hair or even dark blonde hair, blonde highlights can add a ton of depth to your hair. You can weave in up to 3 different types of colors. Ask your stylist about lowlights as well. If you have blonde hair, darker lowlights add more contrast.

You can add caramel highlights for depth, tint hair all over either darker or lighter or try for an auburn color. This color is typical of women with Latin roots (think Eva Longoria) %26amp; is rich %26amp; chocolate-y.
try a highlight only two shades lighter than ur actual hair. if you want to try more than one color of highlights just emphasize the natural highlights u already have in ur hair-light brown a bit of red, whatever- get a friend to help to make sure you get all of ur head covered so it isnt good in the front but weird in the back
puuhhh-lease do not go with blonde highlights!!

i have seen blonde highlighs in dark hair. not pretty.

if its your first time i would do a little research and see which home kit and colors are the best. since you want them to look natural go only one or two shades lighter.
It's not as easy as they make it look on tv. That's why professionals are in business. Good luck, but my advice is schedule an appt. with a stylist.
get sun-in if your hair is a light brown other wise it will turn it orange
