Highlighting Hair Troubles!!!?

I just highlighted my hair,(this is my 2nd time) and I have applied too much of it in the back and it appears to be orange. Both times I did that, the hair strands appear to come out with a little orange color. Salon costs alot and I am not sure how much it would cost to get highlights there.(does anyone know?) Please help!Highlighting Hair Troubles!!!?
At this point, you really need to pony up the cash and go to a salon to have it fixed by a professional. I really can't say how much it's going to cost at this point because I have no idea how bad it is or what it'll take to fix it. Plan on about $50, plus tip. If you keep trying to fix it at home, you'll only make it worse.

And the next time you feel the need to attempt this at home, realize that if your hair is dark, applying highlight will lift it to an orange color unless you get the right color solution. Get a highlight kit that's made specifically for DARK hair and look on the side (or back) of the box for the chart that will show you the ';before and after'; colors. If it's showing orange, your hair will be orange, no matter how much you put on, how long you leave it on, or how many times you do it.

Good luck!Highlighting Hair Troubles!!!?
you walk around with your hair twenty four hours a day, seven days a week. You should spend the money to have it done professionaly. There's nothing worse than badly done hair.
Put on a hat, then run out to Sally's Beauty Supply and get some toner. It will take the orange (brassiness) right out. Then get a good conditioner. (Don't forget the little plastic gloves)
Try washing your hair several times and see if you can get some of the orange to come out. You may also be using a ';not so good highlighting kit'; Wal-Mart carries a Revlon frosting kit that works great and is only about 7 dollars. If all else fails, dye your hair, but wait a few days so that you don't dry it out too much with the chemicals. Use a lot of hair conditioner. Good luck.
Highlights are costly at times. Some salons go by each 'foil'. The problem with your hair is that you didn't quite strip the color. I suggest getting a somewhat different tone of color and going over the highlights(well this causes more damage-it is however much cheaper than going to the salon).
Trust me,just go to a salon. Do not attempt to fix it your self. It's to hard to fix it your self, especially in the back area. You may wind up making it worse if you try to fix it and then it will cost even more. Just go to a salon. I have a color problem to. I'm going to the salon to have it fixed (hopefully). Good Luck
The problem with bleach is that it's very harsh on your hair, and a strand test must be done first, next time buy a highlighting cap and do a strand test. Now raise some money and go to a salon, before you mess up your hair some more. Sounds harsh but you dont want to end up with no hair!
hey!!!!! i've gotten highlights twice to!!!! go to a salon!!!it dosent cost tat much just 30$ highlights around ur head!!!!! my mom and i tired at home we only got and i only got 1 highlight!!!!!lol!!go to a salon!!!!
