Best hair dye to use and highlights?

I would like to dye my hair a reddish brown but I would also like to add some contrasting highlights to it im not looking for a punk effect just a nice looking contrast .Can anyone tell me what the difference is between highlights and low lights Thank youBest hair dye to use and highlights?
i saw a hair dye the other day in the supermarket by nice and easy i don't know what colours they have but it streaks you hair different colours at once.i didn't read the instructions but you should have a look,it is also advertised on telly.


it was in Morrison's but i think all supermarkets have them.maybe you have to dye your hair to the colour and then comb it in i don't know.but look for it.i didn't have my specs with me ,everything was a blurBest hair dye to use and highlights?
highlights are lighter and low lights are like highlights but they are darker. I have highlights in my hair right now. My hair is blonde. I had a darker blonde low light in my hair but it didn't look good.
