Dark Brown hair with Blue highlights?

I have dark brown hair and i want some blue highlights in..but im not sure what it will look like and what shade it get..


im 13 years old and i need some pictures of what some of the shades in bron would look like!!

go to ur hairdresser and say you want a long strip of dark blue ( I recomend a dark blue..it will look better) extention put into your hair...they are usually only about 拢5 a strip ..and they apply it under the top layer of your hair....this would be your best option because..if you want your hair dyed..seeing as your hair is so dark anyway..the hairdresser would have to totally bleach the parts you want blue ..which would damage your hair...then put the blue on. And then if you dont like it..you are stuck with it..


Atleast if you have these blue extentions put in..underneath the top layer of your hair..if you don't like them..u can just have them taken out without damagin your hair...plus its cheaper!

If you want blue streaks, get them, you dont need anyone telling you otherwise, it your decision, second have any colour you fancy. last streaks are only a small clump of ur hair and WILL grow out, PLUS all hair is dead anyway so you wont damage it, all bleaching does do is strip colour,

Thats The exact thing i wanna do i cant choose between purple or blue. I would do it under because a million strikes looks kinda tacky but its your decison. ;) Report Abuse

..dark brown and blue does NOT look good together.


(trust me..) my friend did it before. she got so upset about it. she cut it boy short.





brown looks better with red.


one of my other friends has brown hair. she put like goldish highlights and put purple highlights too. it was wayyy cute.

that makes me think of like in the movie aquamarine and jojo got blue highlights...
i have dark brown hair with dark blue highlights and i love it.
take my advice and DON';T do it. I can imagine it, and it looks hideous. But hey, it's your life and your hair, so go for it!

i think last time you were worried bout it making the rest of your hair blue werent you? Hope you sorted that out satisfactorily!!

well personally i think it would be cute, but maybe not brown, maybe you might want to dye your hair a little darker, and the blue would have to stand out, no freking aqua color, your hair would look like crap, literaly, but maybe a robins egg blue, would work
