Dying/highlighting hair tonight...?

i decided im going to dye my hair dark brown and then put blonde highlights in it tonight. but im doing this all myself. is it going to harm my hair at all if i do both tonight or should i wait to do the highlights tomorrow?Dying/highlighting hair tonight...?

Doing both tonight is probably slightly preferable as it will save your scalp from two seperate processes and it won't effect yourt hair either way.

i think you should do it in two different occassions. dye your hair and then wait about a week to do the highlights. check the instructions for the products you are using. they usually give you guidelines for these sorts of things.

there wont be any problem, but first let the first process complete, as it can undergo some reactions...!

it shouldn't really, but if you want to protect your hair use a deep conditioner with color protectant after. Also id avoid using a hair straightner for a while because it would really kill your hair. and when you put the highlights in, make sure its not just all bleach or you'll have really dry %26amp; damaged hair.
I don't care...people probably won't notice it all at once tho so i would suggest waiting for some time before adding the highlights...

try one of the @ home combination color kits, there designed 2 do this with a base color %26amp; highlight kit all in one box. has worked well 4 me in the past ;)
i would recommend you get the highlights done professionally. i have friends who have RUINED their hair by trying to highlight it themselves, it looked TERRIBLE. unless you have prior experience in highlighting, i WOULD NOT recomend doing it yourself. dying your hair one color is easy though.
i think you should wait and do the highlights tomorrow as i wouldnt risk it in case you get a reaction.
