hey i would think about doing anything drastic as it could go wrong and you may not like it when you have done it. if i were you i would as my friends what they think and if they think it would suit me and also i would use a site where you can upload your picture then can try different hairstyles to see if they suit you try: www.thehairstyler.com. but i do like your idea for purple and blue sound cool :D hope this helps :D
