a lighter shade of brown- not too light so it sticks out way to much but not too dark that you can't see it.

I think caramel highlights look really great in dark brown hair. Basically the color should be about the of a piece of caramel. Burgundy highlights also look good.

well i have that only my skin is medium lol aka TAN . i think light brown ones would work but my friend is the same as me only he has blondish brown highlights.its whatever u think would look best on u.
A Copper color works great! My friend has dark skin and dark brunette hair, and she has copper highlights which look amazing!

red. if your hair is really dark odds of doing blonde would not work because they would end up look brassy and orange.
stick with highlights that will look very natural. Maybe go with something just a little lighter than your natural hair color. anything lighter will make you look like a skunk.
