I have highlights in my hair but now you could see the roots from my head what should i do?

What you SHOULDN'T do is keep on re-highlighting the entire strip of hair highlighted hair. This will result in super light (and super-dried out!) ends, and darker roots.





If you did the highlights at home: I suggest finding a friend who is good with hair, and asking them to paint on the highlight solution JUST to the roots of the hair, using foils, and maybe doing a few new highlights with previously untouched hair. This, however, is tricky because if done wrong, the colors won't match up.





If you got them at a salon, or you did them with an at home kit but you don't have any experienced friends to fix it up for you, go to a salon and have them touch you up. Let them know you're concerned about damaging the already highlighted hair, and you'd just like to touch up the roots.
