i am supposed to give my friend highlights but can you do that with hair dye and like that tin foil????? HELP!!Can you give someone highlights with hair dye?
depending on what colour your friends hair is as you dont mention if it is brown ,dark brown you must use bleach a box dye will not take i am a hairdresser by the way so please take my adviceCan you give someone highlights with hair dye?
You can, but if your friend already has hair color on her head, she'll need bleach to lift the color to a lighter shade for the highlights to show up.
At home bleach is really not easy or a smart thing to do, she should really see a professional if she's already got color on her hair.
